🦁 28 DAYS — Lions 2 travel to Monarchs for their first game!

🦁 38 DAYS — Lions 3 face Silverbacks at home on October 4th!

The lads came home with a Silver Medal from our first ever The GG3x3 tournament! 🏀🥈

And what a journey it was…

🥈 Norwich Lions 10–18 Team Butter — Final

6 wins? Actually, we finished 6-2, with our two losses coming against the same team Team Butter. 👏

And honestly, that’s something we can take a lot of pride in.

We beat the teams we should beat, but we also took down teams that, on paper, we probably weren’t expected to beat. 💪👀

Unfortunately, Team Butter had our number on the day and fair play to them. They were the best team of the tournament and deserved the gold. 🏆👏

But losing twice to the same team doesn’t take away from what the lads achieved.

First The GG3x3 tournament. First experience. Silver medal. 🥈

We were right up there and now we know exactly what we need to work on to go one better next time. 🦁🔥

This has been a long time coming, and we’re finally making it happen! 👀🔥

This isn’t a youth team… yet!

We’re creating an opportunity for young players to get on court, have fun and experience some quality basketball coaching whether they’re already playing or picking up a basketball for the very first time. 🏀

For some, it’ll be about getting those extra reps. 💪
For others, it’ll be about learning the game from the ground up. 🧠

And the best part? There’s no commitment. 🙌

Already playing for another team? Keep playing for your team! These sessions are simply an opportunity to get extra court time, learn, develop and enjoy more basketball. 🏀🔥

We’re also hoping this can play a small part in helping basketball in Norfolk continue to grow. 💛

There are already so many teams and coaches doing some incredible work across Norfolk, and we thought… why not join them? 🦁
