What an amazing day at Ignite! 🔥🥋
A huge thank you to Professor Renato RT-BJJ for joining forces with us and delivering such a high-level competition training camp for the kids.
It was brilliant to see so many young athletes from different teams come together, train hard, push each other, learn, have fun and mix in with one another. Exactly what these camps should be about, developing as competitors while building friendships within the sport. 🙌
A massive thank you to every single kid who came and gave it their all, and to all the parents who made the journey, with some travelling a long way to be there. Your support makes days like this possible.
Hopefully the first of many Ignite x RT competition camps! 🔥🤝

🇦🇪 ABU DHABI BOUND 🌍🏴
Tomorrow, Kasper and Jack fly out to Abu Dhabi to compete at the IMMAF Youth World Championships, both proudly representing Team England. 🏴
So proud of these two. They’ve both been with me for just under two years, and the progress they’ve made in that time has been incredible.
But none of it has happened by accident.
These boys leave no stone unturned. They’re in the gym every day. In addition to all their martial arts training, they work with an S&C coach and a dietitian, attend all their classes, turn up early and stay late. They’re constantly getting extra rounds and extra sessions in with our striking, wrestling and jiu-jitsu coaches.
And when they’re not training, they’re studying. Studying IMMAF, studying their opponents, studying techniques and studying the fight game.
They genuinely live and breathe MMA.
As a coach, you can’t ask for much more than that. When athletes are prepared to put this much into chasing their goals, you know they’ve given themselves every possible opportunity to succeed.
Whatever happens out there, I’m already incredibly proud of them both. But I also know how good these two have become, how hard they’ve worked and what they’re capable of.
Now it’s time to go and show it on the world stage. 🌍🔥
Good luck, boys. Go make some memories and represent Team England and Ignite with pride. ❤️🔥🥊

With nobody in her own weight category, Ellie stepped up a weight and still went out there and submitted every opponent she faced.
At just 17 years old, Ellie has already been competing in the adult divisions for quite some time, constantly testing herself against older and more experienced opponents.
So proud of how far she has come and, even more excitingly, how much potential she has within this sport. She works hard, keeps improving and is never afraid to challenge herself.
