A superb competitive match this morning against a fantastic,team and a great bunch of lads!
With a nightmare of a start to the morning regarding the pitch, both teams took it in their stride, they just wanted to play a game ⚽️
We started with lots of changing around and people in different possistion but held our own. Harley G (gk) had a blinder of a half, pulling off some amazing saves, taking us in at half time 0-0.
Second half we gave away an early penalty for handball, but the Hurricanes didn't let their heads drop and continued to battle 💪
Another goal from Horsford made it 2 -0, but again we kept strong and worked hard.
A great goal from Jack made it 2-1, we tried so hard to score again, but it wasn't to be and Horsford went to the other end and scored a fantastic goal 👏
Final result 3 - 1.
No shame in this result, we played a championship team and held our own 💪💚🌀

Football has a funny way of becoming about far more than football. ⚽💚
It’s the same faces on a freezing Saturday morning.
The parents you end up chatting to every week.
The coach who gives up hours nobody sees.
The kids who start as teammates and somehow become best mates.
You don’t always choose a club because it wins things.
Sometimes you choose it because, somewhere along the way, it starts to feel like your place.
And that’s what grassroots football gets so right.

A very sluggish performance this morning against a good organised team, who went out and wanted it more than the Hurricanes.
The first half was a hard watch, especially after what weve seen the past few weeks. We looked tired, afraid of the ball and lacked the fighting attitude.
Second half was much better - we took more control of the game and created the momentum to move the ball up the pitch, which created alot more chances for everyone.
Final result 7-2
The team know they can play much better than that.....bring in the next 1 💚🌀⚽️
