UEA Panthers Men's Basketball Club 2020/21

The Taster session today has been POSTPONED due to the new government COVID-19 guidelines for Indoor Team sports that have come into effect today!

With Welcome Week just around the corner, here is the information for the events we have planned for it!
The taster sessions are favoured for freshers however, if you are a returner that would like to get into basketball message us and there might be space for you!
For the trials, there are 2 or 3 spots available for NBL/1st team, 6 spots for 2nd team, and 14 spots for 3rd team. Don’t worry if you are not selected at trials, you will be directed towards a development pathway from which you can be recruited from at any time!
Please sign up for these events on the UEA SU website. This is for track and trace purposes! The DSD Taster sessions are FREE but the trials are £3.

Our club is extremely excited to announce that we will be entering a team into Division 3 (East) of the NBL next season! More information regarding recruitment will be posted shortly. Words cannot describe what the entire Panthers team are feeling right now. Many of us grew up watching this man idolising him both on and off the court. His game inspired so many of us and his mentality was something we shall continue to aspire to. The thoughts and prayers of the entire Panthers team goes to his friends and family at this difficult time. Let us also not forget his daughter that was also lost to this tragedy. Their spirits, impact on our lives and the sport that we love so dearly shall live on in hearts forever 🐍💛💜
