Despite winning the wooden spoon in the team event and not far from the wooden spoon in the Professionals event we had a great time at the Gloria Golf Pro Am in Turkey.

A good day for Team Jones Barnham Broom in the first ever Ladies Professionals Cup. We take a big lead going into the final day tomorrow over Team Nathan Danskin ! Well played ladies!!

What a fantastic day for a great assistant, great golfer, great person and a special friend! The support from the members was unbelievable! 212 members played and nearly 250 enjoyed the barbecue. Too many people to thank individually but all the hole sponsors, suppliers donations, members donations, golf clubs four ball donations and everyone else that helped make this day a special day. Thank you.

We did it!! Just being out there playing golf with Matt again is fantastic but to qualify for the Fourball Championship after finishing 5th at Pleasington today after a 66 (-5) is beyond words!!

Another tough day on the links Royal St David's Links Team but we are all still smiling!! Great weather, great company and a great golf course!! Tomorrow is another day!! It has been a long time since the last time I played a Captain & Pro match, and our first game was never going to be easy against the +5 handicap of Liam Gobin (I still think that I should have had 5 shots off him 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️) and the front 8 specialist, Lyndon Alexander!! But our Captain, Bruce Johnson played some great golf to keep us in the game, but it was a 1 down loss in the end!!

After winning the qualifying stage with rounds of 67-66 Liam Gobin continued to play some great golf today and is now through to the semi final of the Cheshire Matchplay Championship tomorrow.

Today should be the Mens Spring Meeting, the best players at the club fighting it out over 36 holes to try and qualify for the Lord Delamere!! But the weather has put a stop to that. Sergio is happy though and thinks we are back in lockdown.
