Barnton Cricket Club

Situated in the village of Barnton, near Northwich, Barnton CC is a multi-sport Club developed from We currently have approximately 1200 members.

Barnton Cricket Club was established in 1880, and plays an integral part in village life. The membership is made up of social and sporting members, who participate in our thriving sporting sections. Don't be misled by the Clubs' name, as cricket is only one of the many sports and activities played at the Club. We have several Mens and Ladies Squash Teams, Crown Green Bowls teams participating in t

he counties respective leagues. We have a Dominoe team playing on Tuesday nights, three ladies Darts teams who compete on Thursday Evenings. Quiz and Bingo alternate on Sunday Nights and a" friendly" Poker School who get together on a Monday night, for small stakes of course! If any of these activities appeal to you, as we are always on the look-out for new players and members, both Senior and Junior, then please feel free to get in touch or drop in for more information on our membership options- we'll be delighted to see you. The Club has quite a busy social calender and hosts several events throughout the year, the highlights being the Annual Beer Festival, now held in July, and a Sportsmans Evening held every March which in recent years has featured such luminaries as Matt Le Tissier, Jan Molby and Lee Sharpe. For details of this years' events, please click here. The Club is also pro-active in raising funds for nationwide charities such as Macmillan Nurses, Children in Need and St Luke's Hospice. The Pavillion is made up of two good- sized rooms,The Townfield Lounge and The Broomsedge Suit, both of which are available to Hire, with capacities of 90 and 100, and are available for a wide range of functions including Weddings, Christenings, Funerals, Birthday Parties and Anniversaries, Details of how to book a function can be found under the "Social" Tab. We also have our own on site, 5 Star Star rated (by CWAC) Kitchen, which is open from Wednesday through until Sunday each week. The kitchen offers a good sized and varied menu which caters for all tastes and in addition to the normal menu, the Club has a Curry Night every Wednesday and Steak Nights on Thursdays and Fridays, both of which are very popular. A Varied Buffett menu for your Functions can be found under Kitchen on the Tool Bar, please speak to Sarah if you need anything specific and she will do everything to help. All the Big live Sporting Events on Sky and BT Sports are shown in one or both of our rooms. The Lounge is the slightly smaller of the two and contains two large Flat Screen TV's whilst the function room has a large Projector TV. Free WIFI is also available to all members.

Just a reminder that the kitchen will be closed from monday 7th September and will reopen on Wednesday 16th September.
When we reopen, we’ll be welcoming in our new Autumn Menu 🍁
With the changeover in mind, we’ll have some great reductions on selected menu items while stocks last.

🏆 T20 CUP CHAMPIONS! 🏆
A message from our 1st XI Captain…
I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who came along and supported us on Sunday in the T20 Cup Final.
The support we had was absolutely incredible and made the day even more special. To see so many Barnton faces there, making plenty of noise and getting behind the lads, meant a huge amount to everyone in the team.
And thankfully, we managed to finish the job and bring the trophy home!
There were some brilliant performances throughout the side, with a couple of special standouts from Joel Cross and Faran Akhtar when it really mattered.
A huge thank you also has to go to all of our sponsors. Your continued support of the club and our players is massively appreciated and plays a big part in allowing us to keep moving forward both on and off the field.
Finally, thank you to Old Parkonians CC for hosting a fantastic Finals Day. The whole day was brilliantly organised and played in a great atmosphere.
