Why turnout matters 🐓🌿

Of course, there are special circumstances where turnout may not be advised. But wherever possible, our mission is to make turnout an enjoyable and stress-free experience for both horse and rider.

There’s nothing better than being able to take a deep breath and relax, knowing your horse is safe, sound and happy in their field and having secure, reliable fencing can make all the difference.

If you’re facing fencing problems, why not tackle them today?

Now, we all know that equestrian knowledge can be quite specialist! 🐓 What might make perfect logical sense in almost every other aspect of life often doesn’t work when horses are involved… because, of course, they like to defy everything that usually makes sense!

That’s why, at Duncan Equine, everyone on the team is horsey. We understand that although placing a post somewhere might look better to the untrained eye, realistically it may not work for the horses. Or perhaps those gates need tweaking because the horses are determined to reach each other!

We don’t just have the knowledge and expertise when it comes to our products – we also have a genuine love and appreciation for these chaotic, incredible creatures who often don’t make sense to anyone unless you love them. ā¤ļø

Who says Stallion Rail is only for paddocks? 🐓

It’s a smart, flexible solution for creating safe walkways, defining perimeters and organising busy yards with horses moving through them every day.

’s setup is the perfect example of how versatile Stallion Rail can be. šŸ™Œ

In light of National Racehorse Week, what better time to share this wonderful video! Duncan Equine UK are thrilled to have been the fencing supplier of choice for the replacement of timber paddock fencing for some very special horses who truly deserve the best life possible. šŸ“ā¤ļø

We’re incredibly proud that our product can be used by charities like BTRC in improving the quality of life and facilities for these wonderful animals. We can’t wait to see the site continue to develop, with more and more Stallion Rail becoming part of their facilities over the years.

Here’s to creating safer, better spaces for horses to thrive. ā¤ļø

Brown, Black & White Stallion Rail it’s all down to personal preference.

🐓 But did you know? Horses don’t see the world in full colour like humans do! They have dichromatic vision, meaning they mainly see blue and yellow shades.

They can still see things that look black, brown and white to us, but those colours may appear differently to a horse.

Plastic or steel posts… which are you choosing? 🐓

Both have their benefits, with the strength, durability and rigidity of steel, alongside the flexibility and safety of plastic, without compromising on quality or integrity.

Whichever you choose, both options look fabulous and deliver the undeniable quality you’d expect from Duncan Equine UK.

So, which one would you choose for your yard? šŸ‘‡

If we’re evolving the rail from timber, it only made sense to find a better solution for the posts too.

Hear from the man himself, Ben Duncan, as he explains more about our PVC posts and why they’re an important part of the evolution of our fencing system.
