Billing Aquadrome Fishery

Due to vandals breaking in to the Billing Mill Sluice, yesterday evening, the River Nene is completely drained and there is no water in the river below Clifford Hill lock/Sluice. The EA engineers will be on site today to repair and refill. As a result there will be no fishing or boating until further notice.

ALL anglers fishing kingfisher 1 and 2 please be aware that firepits/open fires are not allowed under any circumstance(anybody found to be ignoring this will be banned with immediate effect and escorted from site.)
Coal fired bbqs are allowed provided they are off the ground and extinguished immediately after use.

Attention all anglers,with extreme temperatures forcast over the next few days up to +38 and water temperatures +24 degrees we have decided to close the lakes for FISH and angler safety from 1800hrsTuesday 23rd June until Friday 26th June.

All anglers fishing lily and kingfisher lakes please be aware due to a serious incident involving a swan trailing a rig with the lead and line attached,we will be doing rig checks more frequently to ensure leads drop off easily and are safe for the fish and wildlife in the event of a crack off or pick up. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of fish and wildlife alike. Any crack offs or hooking wildlife must be reported asap to ensure these issues are correctly dealt with.Anyone not adhering to these guidelines will be asked to leave.
Sorry to bring these checks in,but irresponsible anglers have brought this about,fish and wildlife safety is paramount

All anglers proposing to fish either lily lake or kingfisher 2,these lakes will be closed for essential maintenance work on Tuesday/wednesday 26/27th may. Kingfisher 1 will remain open to anglers.

Just a reminder to all day ticket anglers, due to the heavy spawning in Kingfisher 2 lake, we have closed the lake until Friday 8th May to allow the Carp to recover from spawning. KF2 and Lily will remain open, but are subject to immediate closure in the event of fish spawning.
