Big cheesy grins for 3 BKC drivers today at Whilton Mill, who have just claimed the titles across Mini 60, OK-N Junior and OK-N Senior for the first edition of the Champions of the Future Academy Program UK Series.

A brand new concept brought to the UK with the support of Motorsport UK has now seen Chester Forkes, Sukhmani Khera and Harrison Whitticombe take the wins across the three categories.

For Chester, he will now go to Macau to compete in Mini 60 as his reward, with both Harrison and Sukhmani being rewarded factory drives in the FIA World Championships later in the year. On top of this, Whitticombe also has a dream come true with a gifted F4 test with Argenti Motorsport.

Another huge highlight of what BKC drivers can do. 👏

As part of our role as Motorsport UK Girls Karting Ambassador it’s important to gain as much knowledge as we can to pass onto the next generation of female karters.

Today we visited Joe from Aventus Power ❕Kart engines 🏁 at his facility where we were offered an insight into time and detail involved in preparing front running kart engines week in week out. With tolerances smaller than a human hair it takes a herculean effort and major organisational skills to remain ahead of the competition.

Wera Tools British Kart Championships Rounds 7&8

Nice to get a Pole on Saturday and second fastest in qualifying today but we refuse to jeopardise anybody else’s race to take advantage and be allowed to get away with it at this level.

We walk away in 3rd overall with no penalties or warnings all weekend, the way racing should be.

Motorsport UK Kartmasters Grand Prix

We simply delivered with the team this weekend, controlled what we could, never on the back foot always pushing forward.

Our only DNF was the result of a snapped axle in Sundays superheat which sent us into the barriers coming onto the straight. Pushing on into the final from our 7th place start we gave it our all missing out on a historical win for a female driver by just 0.08 seconds. Happy to survive and grab 🥈 considering what we had to go through in last years race 😉

Qualified 6th for the final got hit, ended up last after penalties .

Sunday Round 6
Qualified 5th for the final, engine came lose from lap 2 tried to carry on but became dangerous so DNF.

We drop to 5th in the Championship.
