A huge thank you to everyone who supported today’s competition, held in memory of Steve Inwood.

Despite the horrendous weather, everyone seemed to have great fun and played the day in exactly the right spirit.

💛 TOGETHER, WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE 💛

We’re incredibly proud of the Kingsthorpe Golf Club Ladies Section, who have raised an amazing £1,301.06 for Cynthia Spencer Hospice. ⛳️💛

The money has been raised across 2024–2026 as part of the Ladies Captains’ chosen charity, with members coming together through events, competitions and fundraising to support a cause that means so much to people across Northampton and the wider community.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated, taken part, supported an event or helped with the fundraising along the way. Every contribution has helped make this fantastic total possible. 🙌

It was a pleasure to welcome Cynthia Spencer Hospice to Kingsthorpe to officially present the cheque and celebrate what has been achieved.

£1,301.06 raised. One brilliant collective effort. One very worthy local cause. 💛

Some victories mean more than the result itself.

After one of the most difficult weeks in Kingsthorpe Golf Club’s history, our team stepped onto the course, represented the club with pride and retained the Hollingsworth Trophy. ⛳️🏆

This week has tested our club in ways nobody could have imagined. But it has also shown exactly what Kingsthorpe is made of.

People have stepped forward. Members have rallied around us. Partners and friends have offered their support. And, piece by piece, we’ve kept moving forward.

Today, our players added another chapter to that story.

The clubhouse may have been damaged, but the heart of this club is stronger than ever. 💚

Congratulations to everyone who represented Kingsthorpe and brought the Hollingsworth Trophy home once again.
