🌊🤿 SCUBANUTS PEMBROKESHIRE WEEKEND! 🤿🌊

What do you do when you’ve got a group of 12 Scubanuts heading to Pembrokeshire for a weekend of boat diving… and the Welsh weather has other ideas?! 🌬️🌊😂

You make the best of it! 💪🤿

The original plan was to get out on the boats, but unfortunately the sea swell was just too high, putting paid to our boat diving plans. 🚫🚤🌊 Rather than let the weather dampen our spirits, the group got their heads together and started looking for some shore diving alternatives.

And we found some! 🙌

🤿 Saturday saw dives at St Brides Bay and Martins Haven, with everyone making the most of the conditions available. The weather and tides weren’t exactly playing ball, but we still managed to get underwater and enjoy some cracking diving! 🐟🦀🌊

Sunday was a different story, with conditions and tides against us, so sadly there was no diving to be had. 😬🌊 Sometimes you just have to admit defeat when Mother Nature is calling the shots!

But a Scubanuts weekend isn’t just about the diving… 😉🍻

🍽️ Saturday night saw the whole gang heading out for a well-earned meal, plenty of laughs and some serious socialising! 😂🥘🍻

🧁 Sunday’s muffin picnic, courtesy of Amy’s baking, deserves a special mention! Because let’s face it… every dive trip needs emergency muffin supplies! 😋🧁☕️

And for those who weren’t quite ready for the weekend to end, a few stayed on into Sunday evening for a curry, rounding off a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend! 🍛🍻

So, we may have been blown out of our boat dives 🌬️🚤, and the weather may have thrown a few curveballs our way, but the Scubanuts crew did what we do best…

We made the best of it! 💙🤿

Great diving where we could, great food, great company and plenty of laughs along the way. That’s what club weekends are all about! 🥰🌊

Another busy Thursday night at Northampton Scuba School, and the pool was absolutely buzzing! 😃💦 From new divers taking their first underwater steps to future instructors sharpening their teaching skills, there was plenty happening in the water! 🐠👏

Our latest Open Water students Jason, Jaxon & Mayah were back in the pool for Week 2, building on the skills from last week and getting more comfortable and confident underwater. The journey continues! 🤿💪

Lara got back into the water and completed her Scuba Review – a great way to refresh those skills and get everything feeling comfortable again! 👌💦

👨‍🏫 INSTRUCTOR TRAINING IN FULL SWING!
Our latest Instructor Candidate Jay was putting in the work as part of his IDC, completing his skill circuit and confined water presentations. 💪📚🤿 Lots of hard work, plenty of practice and another big step towards becoming an instructor!

And Steve was also busy in the pool, working on his confined water presentations as he puts the finishing touches to his Assistant Instructor training. 👏🎓

🌊🤿 What a weekend of diving! 🤿🌊

Following on from Thursday’s pool session, it was great to get everyone out into open water for a very busy weekend of diving! 🐟☀️

We had a fantastic mix of Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Drysuit students hitting the water, putting their pool skills into practice and gaining valuable experience in the real diving environment.

The weather was absolutely brilliant ☀️, visibility was pretty reasonable 👌, and there were heaps of fish around to keep everyone entertained! 🐠🐟🦀 Plenty of smiles, plenty of bubbles and lots of great diving all round.

Massive congratulations to everyone who completed their courses and reached their next diving milestone! 🎉👏

📚 New Open Water Students
A warm welcome to Mayah, Jaxon and Jason, who all got started on their Open Water journey! 🥳🤿 The first steps towards becoming qualified divers are always exciting, and we’re looking forward to seeing your confidence and skills develop over the coming sessions. 💪🌊

🥽 Drysuit Orientation
With Stoney Cove on the horizon for the weekend, Lee, Luke, Tim and Josh got some valuable drysuit orientation in the pool. 🧑‍🚀🤿 Getting familiar with the equipment and buoyancy before heading into open water is a great way to build confidence — especially when there’s a weekend of diving ahead! 🌊👌

And a big welcome back to Steve, who got his diving back up and running with a Reactivation session! 👏🤿 Great to have you back in the water, Steve!

It’s fantastic to see so many people at different stages of their diving journey — from taking their very first breaths underwater, to starting Open Water training, preparing for Stoney Cove and getting back into diving after a break. 🙌🌊

A massive well done to everyone who took part, and a huge thank you to the instructors, helpers and club members who keep these sessions running and make them such a great place to learn and progress. ❤️

🌙🤿 Stoney Cove Club Night Dive 🤿🌙

What a fantastic turnout for our club night dive at Stoney Cove last Wednesday! 🙌🌊

It was great to see so many familiar faces, along with several members taking the plunge into night diving for the very first time. There’s something pretty special about exploring Stoney Cove after dark — a completely different atmosphere, new things to see, and plenty of excitement along the way! 🔦🐟✨

And there was an extra reason to celebrate… 🎉🥳

Huge congratulations to Tom Escudier on completing his 50th dive! 🏆🤿👏

Reaching 50 dives is a fantastic milestone in itself, but even better, this dive cemented Tom’s Master Scuba Diver certification! 💪🌟 What a way to mark the occasion — a night dive surrounded by the club and plenty of support from fellow divers.

A massive CONGRATULATIONS, Tom! 🎉🍾 Well deserved!
