๐ฅ HELP US PROTECT THE NEXT GENERATION ๐ฅ
We are seeing far too much tragedy, anti-social behaviour and gang violence in our communities.
As parents, guides and role models, we are seeing a generation of young people who are struggling and, all too often, being tempted towards risk, crime and worse.
It is our job to protect them.
We have to be more demanding about how our young people spend their time โ even when we face resistance and pushback.
I don't buy into the idea that society is failing our young people because there is โnothing to doโ.
THERE IS PLENTY ON OFFER.
We just need to encourage our youngsters to get involved.
Boxing has always carried a stigma in some circles, but there is no denying the huge benefits the sport can bring to young people and communities.
๐ฅ Boxing can help to:
โข Reduce anti-social behaviour among those who take up the sport
โข Reduce involvement in violence and crime
โข Build confidence, discipline and resilience
โข Teach responsibility and self-control
โข Develop respect โ both for themselves and for others
โข Give young people structure, purpose and positive role models
Help our youngsters. Get them involved. Let's not lose the next generation.
There are so many boxing clubs and community organisations doing incredible work โ often for nothing more than the love of the sport and the desire to make a difference.
Support the clubs that want to make a difference.
Give them the opportunity to guide, challenge and help shape your young people into confident, respectful and disciplined adults.
You are not alone.
Let's work together to protect our young people and give them something positive to belong to. ๐ฅ

Please be aware that parking around the gym is going to be a nightmare moving forwards due to the demolition of the Residents Club.
Please be mindful of local residents and park approximately, not on the pathways or blocking anyone's access.
Try to park away from the gym and walk where you can when its busy.
We have alot of elderly and people with physical disabilities who need clear access at all times.
