Over four days of fierce competition at the European Touch Championships 2026, our pirate Aimee Findlay proudly represented the England W45s.

Battling through seven games, the team won four, drew one, and finished 2nd in their pool—an outstanding achievement.

Aimee’s electric pace and exceptional positioning saw her finish as her team’s top try scorer, playing a huge role in England’s success throughout the tournament.

A fantastic achievement and a tournament to remember. Congratulations, Aimee—we’re incredibly proud of you! 🏴‍☠️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿👏

Here we have our pirate, Lesley McCallion, captain of the EuroStars W40s at the European Touch Championships 2026.

The EuroStars are a unique team, bringing together players from across Europe to compete as one squad at the tournament—a showcase of international teamwork.

Over 4 days, they battled through 7 games, finishing on a high with a thrilling victory over England W45s. The match was decided in a nail-biting 4 v 4 drop-off.

A fantastic achievement and a tournament to remember. Congratulations, Lesley, on leading your team with pride!

Here we have our pirate, Anthony Nolan, captain of the Ireland M50s at the European Touch Championships 2026.

Unfortunately, Anthony suffered an injury in the opening game of the tournament and was unable to take any further part on the field.

That said, the squad still benefited hugely from Anthony’s experience and leadership from the sub box. His support, encouragement, and tactical insight over 8 games in 4 days were invaluable, proving that great captains lead in many different ways.
