Gullane Swim Club

Thank you all for attending our Presentation Evening earlier. It was fantastic to see so many swimmers and families there to celebrate the hard work and achievements of the season.
As Head Coach, it is a real privilege to work with such a talented group of swimmers. I continue to be incredibly impressed by the standard of swimming throughout the club, but even more so by the passion, commitment, and dedication the swimmers show week after week as they strive to improve and reach their potential.
Their attitude, willingness to learn, and support for one another make coaching them a genuinely rewarding experience. We are fortunate to have such a positive and hardworking group.
I also hope that, as a coaching team, we continue to provide the right balance of enjoyment and hard work—creating an environment where swimmers can have fun, build friendships, and develop a lifelong love of the sport, while also being challenged to become the best swimmers they can be.
Thank you again for your continued support. It is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to another exciting and successful season ahead.

PLEASE READ - FUN NIGHT TUESDAY 20 JUNE 🤩

The coaches have got some fun activities planned for Fun Night this coming Tuesday 20th June, including the chance to cover some fun basic lifesaving rescue skills and/or a bit of synchronized swimming! For the rescue skills section, it would be great if kids could bring along some old pajamas or old leggings and a top.🤩

Please could you please let us know if your child is NOT able to come by replying to this email asap. We know there is a dance show that night and there may be other end of term events we're not aware of. We had planned to put on the usual two sessions with kids attending their normal session. However, if there are smaller numbers, we'll just put on one session and one bus, so it would be really helpful if you could tell us if your child won't be able to make it.

Hi all, the next Gullane Swim Club trial will take place this Tuesday (18th April) from 5:30pm - 6:15pm at North Berwick pool. Gullane Swim Club is open to children in P3 and above with a bus taking children from Gullane to North Berwick leisure centre on Tuesday evenings.

Could those interested in trialling email the child’s name, age, school year and swimming ability to [email protected] ASAP. We will then contact those registered with further details.

Each child will be assessed on their ability to swim a width of backstroke, front crawl and breaststroke - they need to be able to do this comfortably.

SWIM CLUB CANCELLED TONIGHT - 30.8.22

Apologies everyone but we have been informed by East Lothian Leisure that due to staff shortages tonight's swim club (30.8.22) has had to be cancelled.

Swim Club is back tomorrow Tuesday 23 August! 😀

You should have all received a 'Welcome back to swim club' email with some key information relating to:

- Registration - all children need to be registered at the start of every year

- Term dates - 23 August - 16 December (excluding 18 Oct)

- Fees

- Session timings

- Bus departure points and times
