The ‘Rep Thought’
This is something I do and I’m sure many coaches will do with members and athletes all the time, watch the movement and give a cue for them to implement in the next rep.
But why can’t we do it ourselves?
Try make it a habit to pay attention to your movement or have a coach help you see or feel where a movement went wrong. Then implement the ‘rep thought’ to make the next rep better.
Remember, this can be used for ‘simple’ movements also. If you know depth is tricky for you, have the thought ‘depth’ in your head every rep.
Standards matter! Hold yourself to them!

Adam came on board with FFP wanting to work on his skills in CrossFit, primarily to prepare and feel more comfortable going onto the competition floor.
He stayed consistent, worked his weaknesses and podiumed in the competition, here’s what he had to say about it.
Nice one Adam.

Heavy at a High Heart Rate
In life outside the gym, when moving or shifting heavy things, we rarely get to have the perfect warm up and have perfectly even weights on a balanced object. Sometimes we even have to perform tasks with an elevated heart rate and/or breathing rate.
Using sessions like this one or odd objects is a great way to prep us for these situations.
If you’re wanting a programme that prepares you for life, this one does it.
