The evening will help raise awareness of mental health and su***de prevention while bringing our customers and local community together for a night of fun, entertainment and fundraising.

Match Report: 1st Bangor 3–1 Aquinas

Despite difficult rainy conditions at Londonderry Park, 1st Bangor produced a strong performance to secure a well-earned 3–1 victory over Aquinas in what was a feisty and competitive encounter.

The match was full of tough tackles, physical battles and plenty of intensity from both sides. 1st Bangor made a positive start and took the lead through Adam Purce. A direct ball forward created the opportunity before the ball was delivered into the box, where Purce finished to give his side the advantage. Aquinas continued to battle and found an equaliser right on the stroke of half-time, scoring from a corner to send the teams into the break level at 1–1.

However, 1st Bangor came out strongly in the second half and regained control of the match. The pressure eventually paid off when Josh McIlwrath delivered an excellent cross into the box, allowing Kyle McDowell to score with a header and restore Bangor’s lead. McDowell then grabbed his second goal of the game to seal the victory. Nathan Johnston struck the post, with McDowell reacting quickest to the rebound to finish and make it 3–1.

A strong second-half display ensured 1st Bangor came away with all three points, showing great determination and quality despite the challenging conditions.
