🏆 One week on, and we're still pinching ourselves! 🚣‍♂️

Looking back at last week's win, with our Over 50s mixed team lifting the Iain Oughtred Trophy it means the world to everyone at Kilclief Coastal Rowing Club.

For those who might not know, Iain was the legendary designer of the St Ayles Skiff and a giant in our rowing community. When he sadly passed away in 2024, the Skiffie Festival committee created an annual race to honour his incredible legacy:

* 2024: Dundrum
* 2025: Dundrum
* 2026: Kilclief

This is so much more than just a wee trophy to us—we are deeply honoured and humbled to have our club's name connected to such a legend of the sport.

A massive thank you to everyone who cheered us on and to the committee for keeping Iain's spirit alive on the water. Here’s to the legacy! 💙🌊

Day 3 Wrap Up Skiffi Festival Success! 🌊🎉

What an incredible final day at the Skiffi Festival! The competition was fierce, the energy on the water was unmatched, and our crews put on an absolute masterclass.

A massive congratulations to all our competing teams for leaving everything out there today. Here are the official podium results:
* 🥇 Over 50 Mix – 1st Place (Champions!)
* 🥈 Open Male – 2nd Place
* 🥉 Over 40 Women – 3rd Place
* 🥉 Over 40 Male – 3rd Place

By winning the Over 50 mix race, our crew picked up the Iain Oughtred Trophy🏆

Hard work, early mornings, and incredible teamwork truly paid off today. So proud of every single rower who represented us out on the water!

Thank you to the organisers, volunteers, and everyone cheering us on from the shore. Time to rest up, celebrate these fantastic results, and get ready for what's next! 🚣‍♂️💪

What an incredible weekend we’ve had so far at Skiffi Festival 2026! We are immensely proud of everyone who represented our club on the water, battling it out in some tough competition and bringing home some fantastic results:

A massive congratulations to all our podium finishers! But the pride doesn’t stop there—a huge, heartfelt tribute goes out to every single person who took to the oars and raced across all events so far. We left everything out on the water today. Rest up tonight, because we go again tomorrow! 💪💙
