Its nearly time for autumn 🍂
Can't wait to see my clients again for the autumn season of classes and movement.
I am nearly at capacity for classes from September to December, so please do get it touch if your facility would like visits x

A month of summer has passed already!
I shall be back to visits week beginning the 7th of September and look forward to seeing all my clients.
I am also delighted to announce that I will be opening a regular visiting slot for a residential/care home or learning disability centre on Thursday mornings. If your facility would like regular therapeutic seated exercise classes please do get in touch.
I have extremely limited availability and in the past I have had to turn away enquiries, but I'm so pleased to now be able to offer another day for regular weekly or fortnightly visits.
Regular supported exercise can help your residents stay healthy and maintain that essential brain body connection. Feel free to email [email protected] or drop me a PM x

A lovely morning at Copelands yesterday and was asked an interesting question that I thought I would share.
I was asked if my teaching held an eastern religious bias and I confirmed that it did not. I teach functional movement for health and welfare, rather than a traditional yoga practice that is rooted in a certain belief system.
If anyone wants that style of yoga I always direct them to a practitioner who teaches in that manner.
Both are equally relevant and acceptable but my teaching is secular. Very happy to chat about this if anyone has more questions!

Delighted to continue my training this week in advanced modified Tai Chi (Chi Me) with Lifedock.
Always trying to develop and learn to bring the best classes to our local care homes and carers groups x

Its been a busy week so far and its not over yet!
After visits to Abbeyfield Belfast Society and Copelands I am on my way to teach, and also to speak about Enduring Power of Attorney, at the Carers NI conference in Downpatrick.
Beautiful morning for the Strangford ferry!

I've been reading lots of research recently that clearly highlights the importance of structured exercise classes in residential and nursing homes.
Keeping both the mind and the body active, engaged and connected is so vitally important to the health of our seniors as they age.
The research below highlights exactly why I started BMoved4Life, and offer inclusive, adaptive chair based yoga and Tai Chi.
By investing in the health and welfare of your residents, you can make a real difference to their quality of life as well as the potential to reduce falls and preserve mobility.
I am so delighted that I have amazing regular clients and I would really like to add to my list so please do share and help me reach more people!
