Largest weightlifting club in Northern Ireland affiliated to both the British and Irish Weightlifting Associations. We also cater for other sports looking a training base for their S&C programs
We have certified coaches who teach the Olympic lifts and design training programs for people interested in competing. We regularly run coaching courses for those who would like to be able to coach the lifts.

Congrats Darragh
We are proud to help support Darragh Ferguson with strength training (along with additional support from Strength Farm in Rathfriland), who was selected for the Irish Basketball team. Darragh is a Mary Peters Trust athlete and he is supporting the Mary Peters Trust "Mask Out to Help Out campaign"
We have previously had the Mary Peters Trust fund two weightlfters within the club and are appreciative of the work her Trust does to help support young NI athletes of all sports.

Closed from Sun 22nd March
GoLift Weightlifting Club have taken the decision to close from Sunday 22nd March due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The government has set out requirements for social distancing and recent scientific evidence indicates asymptomatic individuals can transmit the virus. We feel we have a social responsibility to minimise viral transmissions, to protect the most at risk and to not contribute to an increased burden on our NHS. We will review government advice as to when it is most appropriate to open again. Stay safe
