Picco Dance is Ballroom & Latin Dance Studio in Greater Belfast for everyone and anyone. We teach a wide variety of dances from the Ballroom & Latin genres, all taught in relaxed and friendly classes. Wedding Packages are also offered and can be tailored to suit your needs. Maybe a few basics to get rid of that dreaded "shuffle" ? Or a choreographed routine to your favourite song?

Unfortunately Picco Dance will be closed for at least the next 2 weeks due to unforseen circumstances. All classes and private lessons have been cancelled.

CLASS CANCELLED ❌
I'm absolutely gutted to have to cancel the first class of the year. I've been so excited to get dancing for 2023.
But unfortunately I'm housebound with the snow ❄️🌨️
For those who don't know, I'm not sure this photo shows how steep the hill is but my street is the worst place to be when it's snowing! It's so beautiful but my car says nope

One of my goals this year is to dance every day, even if it's just for a few minutes while I'm waiting on my coffee to brew.

I just had to share with you all something which happened last night. Bear with me while I set the scene.
Not long after 8pm, just finished teaching a fun wee class, and off we all went out into the dark in the pouring rain. Absolutely miserable weather!
I was sat in my car for a few minutes as I was on a video call to a friend. I glanced out my windscreen across the carpark, to see a couple of students were standing chatting, just on the footpath of Carnmoney Road. I thought nothing of it except that they were going to catch a cold standing in that rain.
Just as I went to look away, these 2 students got into frame and starting practicing their Cha-cha!
It's a cold, wet horrible Tuesday night and 2 of my students, of their own accord wanted to practice just a wee bit more before heading off home! You couldn't have wiped the smile of my face!
It's hard to explain why this meant so much to me! It's a wonderful, warm fuzzy feeling knowing that I have helped to bring the joy of dance to others' lives 💃🕺
Thank you to those 2 students who unknowingly gave me such a special moment that will stay with me forever ❤🥰
