🎂Happy 90th Birthday Tommy Kernoghan! 🎂

A true Mossley legend and one of the founding members of Mossley FC.

90 years young and still very much involved. Tommy can still be found at the games, supporting the club he helped build all those years ago.

A remarkable man who has given so much to Mossley over the years, and someone who continues to be a huge part of our club.

⚽ 2014 FC | Mossley 5–2 SOPFC 💙💛

A strong performance from the boys this morning in another competitive pre-season fixture.

Mossley opened the scoring after some good attacking play caused a scramble in the box, leaving a clean strike to make it 1–0.

The second came from a long ball from the Mossley goalkeeper, met with a brave header to make it 2–0 — a rare assist for the keeper! 🧤⚽

SOPFC continued to test Mossley, but some good defending and excellent work from the goalkeeper kept them out before Mossley added a third.

A well-taken free kick brought it back to 3–1, before some nice interplay restored the three-goal advantage at 4–1.

The fifth was arguably the pick of the goals — a lovely square ball across the box leaving a dream finish to make it 5–1. A late penalty completed the scoring at 5–2.

Another useful pre-season game with plenty of positives. Many thanks to SOPFC for the game and best wishes for the season ahead. 🤝⚽

Our 2013s welcome Bangor Swifts to The Diamond, and our 2014 FCs welcome St Oliver Plunket FC to Newtownabbey.

MOSSLEY FC – YOUTH DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Mossley FC are looking for a passionate and dedicated Youth Development Officer to oversee our growing youth structure.

⚽ 3 Junior Teams
⚽ 4 Kids Teams
⚽ Munchkins

THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

• Overseeing our 3 Junior Teams, 4 Kids Teams and Munchkins
• Working closely with all our coaches and supporting them in their roles
• Overseeing the overall development and progression of our youth setup
• Helping create a clear pathway for players to progress through Mossley FC
• Ensuring our teams provide a positive, fun and development-focused environment
• Acting as a link between coaches, players, parents and the club committee.

Mossley 2-5 Holywood

Mossley started the brighter of the two sides and opened the scoring through a brilliant free kick from Calum Adams. Holywood levelled, but Mossley regained the lead after some great pressing from Caolan O’Loan, who nicked the ball off the defender before smashing it into the net.

Right on the stroke of half time, Holywood found an equaliser to make it 2-2.

Holywood added another three goals to secure the win in the second half.

⚽ NXTLevel Training in Dublin 💙💛

A great morning for our 2014s with NXTLevel Football Academy at DCU Sports Centre.

The boys worked on ball mastery, attacking play and 1v1s, with plenty of touches on the ball and some new ideas to take away.

A big thank you to NxtLevel Football Academy for a brilliant session. A great addition to our Dublin mini tour. 👏⚽

Mossley 2021s⚽️⚽️

A special weekend for our Mossley 2021s, who played their first ever match as they got their football journey underway!

After all progressing through Mossley Munchkins last year, the kids have now taken that next step into playing matches and they couldn’t have started any better with a brilliant 6-4 win! 👏⚽️
