And we are baaaack!
And what a first weekend back it was!
So many new faces. Hugs from friends who missed each other all summer. Excited faces in new leotards. New songs, exercises & routines started. 2 rooms buzzing with very excited performers back doing what they love.

Well done to everyone on a fabulous first weekend back. Bring on another fantastic year and the 5th school year at AK Studios! 🤍

She’s baaaack!

Presenting our new Ballet exam coaching teacher,
Anna McBride!

Bio: I’ve been teaching ballet for over 20 years and feel incredibly fortunate to spend my career inspiring young dancers to develop their technique, confidence and love of ballet. I hold my Licentiate in Imperial Classical Ballet, the RAD Teaching Certificate and a Level 3 qualification in PBT.
I currently teach vocational ballet at Liverpool Theatre school, alongside being the ballet teacher at Ballet Boost associates in Manchester.
I teach across multiple schools in Manchester and Liverpool, working with students from graded to vocational level.
I have supported dancers preparing for competitions including Ballet Grand Prix Scotland, Ballet Britain and the Dance World Cup 2026.
I’ve also lectured at Cumbria class championships working with dancers aged 6 through to 18+

My teaching philosophy is simple: dance is for everyone. I strive to create a positive and supportive environment where every dancer can grow in confidence, refine their technique and enjoy the journey.

We can’t wait to welcome Anna back to the AK Team!
