Emily Godley Olympic Weightlifting Event ‘Lift Me Up’ Weightlifting competition where ALL proceeds go to Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The Emily Godley Olympic Weight Lifting Event – in conjunction with Winners 2000 Fitness Limited. The aims of the event are to increase participation in Olympic Weight Lifting for all and to promote the sport in a positive manner. To use the power of competition to drive improvements in technique and poundage’s achieved; through quality coaching and support, to help you to set and achieve goals. We also wish to raise awareness for Motor Neurone Disease and to raise money to assist with research to find a cure. All money from this event will be donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association (Charity Number 294354)

What a day! This year’s event was smaller, cosier but with absolutely huge vibes! From face paints, to raffles, to crazy wigs - we had lots and lots of fun. A huge well done to all of the lifters who took part and made such a big effort for the event 🌈

UPDATED LIFT ME UP 2026 START LIST‼️

The competition will run in a round-robin format, with no more than 4 athletes completing their first attempt before moving on to second attempts & third at a time. You will get a 2 minute timer to complete your lift. A 15 minute break between Sn**ch - Clean & jerk. Weight-in will be done in the warm up area 15 minutes before your first sn**ch attempt.
