We are inviting people to be part of the exciting future of Kilkeel Leisure Centre with the launch of a major recruitment campaign ahead of the Centre's reopening later this year.

The revitalised facility will provide a modern, welcoming and accessible leisure destination for the local community, featuring an upgraded reception area, extended fitness gym, new studio space and enhanced changing facilities.😀

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the team in a range of roles. Opportunities are available for Lifeguards, cleaner, swimming teacher, Leisure Supervisors and Health and fitness Instructors.

🏃‍❤️🏃‍♀️ From recovery to remarkable achievement

A group of inspirational men and women from across our district raised an incredible £7,813 for Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke after completing the Belfast City Marathon. 🙌🎉

Aged between 63 and 78, the participants took on the 26-mile challenge in two relay teams, transforming their personal experiences of illness, rehabilitation and recovery into a powerful fundraising effort for charity. ❤️

Having overcome heart attacks, major cardiac events and surgery, group members rebuilt their strength, confidence and fitness through our Be Active for Health initiative, including the Physical Activity Referral Scheme (PARS) and Cardiac Rehabilitation classes. 💪🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

The marathon was a celebration of friendship, determination and the life-changing impact of physical activity. Congratulations to everyone involved on their outstanding achievement🌟
