π₯STARTING 7TH SEPTEMBER AT 7.15PMπ₯
π2 SPACES LEFT!π
I've had lots of questions about what our Beginner Functional Strength Programme will actually involve.
We aren't throwing you straight into heavy weights or expecting you to keep up with anyone else.
We start by building the foundations first. πͺ
PHASE 1 - FOUNDATION RESET
This is where we establish your base and focus on:
β¨ Movement quality
β¨ Mobility
β¨ Stability
β¨ Control
β¨ Learning how YOUR body moves
Before we ask your body to lift heavier, move faster, or do more, I want you to understand how to move well and with confidence.
We'll learn the fundamental movements, work on technique, and gradually build your strength from there.
This programme is perfect if you've been thinking:
π "I'd love to start the gym, but I wouldn't know what I'm doing."
π "I'm not fit enough for classes."
π "I'm nervous about walking into a gym."
You don't need to be fit to start. That's the whole point. β€οΈ
We'll meet you exactly where you are and build from there.
If you've been sitting on the fence, now is the time.
π©Message me to grab one of the final 2 spaces.

I've had a few people asking what the new Beginner Functional Strength Bootcamp is all about, so I thought I'd explain.
Functional strength is simply about getting stronger for real life.
Strong isn't just about the gym... it's about making everyday life easier.
If you've been thinking about starting, this is your sign.
Start dates and times will be announced this week. Numbers will be limited. Get in touch now for more information!

I was a beginner in the gym once, too.
It's easy to look at a coach or someone who's been training for years and think they've always been confident.
The truth is... I haven't.
I remember not liking myself very much and walking into the gym, not knowing what half the equipment was for. I wondered if people were watching me. I felt nervous and hoped I wasn't doing something wrong.
Every single person who lifts weights, runs marathons, or looks confident in the gym started exactly the same way...
As a beginner.
Nobody is born knowing how to squat, deadlift, or use a rowing machine.
Confidence doesn't come before you start.
IT COMES BECAUSE YOU START.
That's exactly why I am creating a 4-week Beginners Functional Strength Bootcamp.
This isn't about being the fittest or the strongest.
It's about learning the basics, building strength, improving your fitness, and gaining confidence in a supportive environment where nobody judges you. It's about future proofing yourself and keeping yourself fit and healthy as we get older.
Everyone who joins will be there for the same reason, to become a little stronger and more confident than they were yesterday.
If you've been thinking about joining a gym, but fear has been holding you back...
This is your sign.
I'll be with you every step of the way. β€οΈ

I wouldn't call myself a natural runner!!! π€£π€£
In case anyone is interested in the 'why' behind my running sessions... π
I'm trying to improve my running, and my session on Monday was all about over-under intervals.
The goal isn't just to run hard. It's to teach my body to cope with changes in pace and recover without slowing right down.
Sessions like this help:
πββοΈ Improve your ability to run at a faster pace for longer.
π¨ Clear lactate more efficiently, so you recover quicker while you're still moving.
π₯ Build the strength and endurance to keep pushing when your legs start to feel heavy.
Every session has a purpose. It's not about going flat out every time. It's about training smart, staying consistent, and trusting the process.
Hopefully, all these sessions will pay off in the autumn for FearManagh and Hyrox mixed doubles π€πββοΈ
Have you any goals you are working towards at the minute?? I would love to hear what they are. ππ

Honesty post π«
Last week wasn't my usual level of consistency.
I was tired. My period was late. I felt sore and achy, and my mood was low. π€― π΅βπ«
Some days, everything felt like an effort.
I still managed to get six sessions done, but they were far from perfect. The weights weren't always as heavy, I didn't feel as strong, and some sessions were simply about moving my body rather than chasing progress.
But I showed up for myself. π
Because I've learned that doing something is always better than doing nothing. Even if it's just 10 minutes of mobility, a walk, or a lighter workout, I know I'll feel better afterwards. And I always do.
I share this because I'm human, too. As a coach, I don't have perfect weeks. I don't always feel motivated. I don't always feel strong. π
The difference is that I don't let an "off" week become an "off" month.
If you've had a week where life, hormones, stress, or tiredness have knocked you off course, don't beat yourself up.
Start again today. πͺπͺ
