Need a third space to relax and socialise outside of home? Reminder that social bytes is running from 330 on Wednesdaysđ°
Social Bytes is a relaxed youth space for young people who want somewhere comfortable to spend time, connect, or focus, without the extra pressure.
Itâs a place to drop in, grab a complimentary hot snack and drink, use laptops, Wi-Fi, or the printer, and settle in however suits you. Some people come to study quietly on their own, others meet friends, work together, or just enjoy being around people without having to perform.
Thereâs no expectation to socialise, and no right way to be. You can talk, create, concentrate, or simply exist in a space thatâs designed to feel safe, calm, and welcoming.
Social Bytes is about community at your own pace, a space where you donât have to fit in to belong.
Please note this cafe is strictly for 13-18yr olds

Sometimes the signs that a friend isnât feeling safe are small.
They might cancel plans, become quieter, seem anxious around their partner or apologise for things that arenât their fault.
You donât need to know exactly whatâs happening, and you donât need to have all the answers. Start gently: check in, listen, leave judgement aside and please remind them youâre there.
A simple âIâve noticed you havenât seemed yourself lately, are you okay?â can open the door when theyâre ready.
Safe Here, Safe Everywhere Drop-In CafĂŠ is a relaxed, confidential space to talk about relationships, boundaries, respect, healthy communication, warning signs, or concerns about yourself or a friend
