UK Independent Vert Series

So….
Weather forecasts for this weekend are becoming increasingly negative.
We’ve held off on calling off the next round of the series at Spit and Sawdust as the weather in Cardiff is so changeable but it seems highly likely that we will have a very wet few days
Plans as they stand are:
- regardless of what happens, this will not be a “counted” round of the series, as we appreciate people might not want to travel long distances and not skate vert.
- if we have decent weather, we will run jam format comps for each of the categories, with prizes to hand out
- if we have a complete washout, we will move indoors and run a jam on the bowl instead (the park will be running a reduced price for the day if this happens)

It’s not ideal, but will still hopefully be a rad weekend.

Saturday - the ramp is open 10 - 8 for open practice
Then we’ve got bowlbash.wales going on indoors, check their page for tickets (u13s need to be accompanied by an adult! The bar will be open for anyone hanging around outside.

Sunday
Open practice 10-12, competition running 12-15.30 - more detailed heat timings to come later in the week

We’re back on!!!
Huge thanks to Woody Jon Nixon Ramp City for getting the graft done to help get the ramp comp ready
We are going ahead July 5th with the longstanding Seaside Session.
* Please note, there are still some repairs that need doing to the flat bottom of the ramp. This is going to be finished in the week leading up to the comp.

This is a real bummer.
The vibe at Blackpool is always top notch.
However, we wanted to get this out as soon as possible, to give people the chance to alter plans if necessary.
There are several options being explored, we’re trying to get a plan sorted ASAP.

We’ve had to change a date 😩
The Birmingham leg has been pushed back a week.
We hate to move dates around, as we appreciate people plan ahead, but this was unavoidable due to a clash with the World Champs.

We’re so stoked to move on to - and to see a shiny new indoor vert pop up in the U.K.

Doors open at 10.30, and qualifiers will be starting at midday

You’ll need to book online for the park, but paying for one session will get you in all day

Parking is available downstairs in the shopping centre
