Good luck to all 113 members teeing it up in The Centenary Medal today at Newquay Golf Club!

It’s a bit fresher out there this morning, but the course is looking fantastic. The greens have been cut and rolled and are quickly getting back to normal after Maintenance Week, so they should be rolling nicely today. ⛳️👌

With our stunning links, spectacular coastal views and Fistral Beach, Newquay and the Atlantic as a backdrop, we really are very fortunate to play golf in such an incredible setting. 🌊⛳️

We’re excited to announce that entries are OPEN for the Newquay Junior Open 2026, taking place on Wednesday 26th August at Newquay Golf Club! ⛳️

There are competitions for juniors of all handicap levels:

🏆 18 Hole Individual Medal – 0–18 handicap
🏆 18 Hole Individual Stableford – 19–36 handicap
🏆 9 Hole Stableford – 37–54 handicap

9 Hole – £4

It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a day of competitive golf, meet other junior golfers and test yourself on the course! 🌊⛳️

Good luck to our fantastic ladies, Jan Barker and Debbie Cain, as they represent Newquay Golf Club in the Titleist 4Ball Better National Final at Woodhall Spa (Hotchkin), on Wednesday 12th August.

After an incredible 49-point round in the Ladies Section qualifier on 5th July, they secured their place in the national final, qualifying in the top division. They are also the only pair from Cornwall to reach the final, where just 32 pairs from across the country will compete.

They'll be one of the first groups out, teeing off at 11:10am, and we know they'll do Newquay Golf Club proud.

We’ve had a little overnight rain which has taken the edge off the fairways, while the greens have been cut and rolled and are looking fantastic. Conditions are set for another superb day of links golf.
