It was the Bishop show again last week, with brothers Alfie and Charlie both taking 3 wickets, in the 3rd XI win over Luckett. All 3 brothers will be in action this Sunday for our U19 team, in the finals day at Helston!

2026 Record Partnership Data, thanks to Mike Jelbert

Adam Cocking (98) and Thomas Owen (154*) partnership of 224 v Roche on 15 August. Club record for any wicket in County 1, beating the previous record of 201 by Rob Harrison and Jimmy Hilton in 1998.

Matt Millward (29*) and Aaron Hawken (85*) partnership of 122* yesterday. Equalled club record 4th wicket partnership for this division, previously set by John Tinson and Mike Blackshaw in 2015.

Tom Stephenson (38*) and Tanmay Sabnis (92) partnership of 107 v Launceston on 4 July for the 7th wicket is a club record for the 7th wicket in the division, beating previous record set by Tim and Bill Walton in 1981.

Mike Jelbert (93*) and Terry Marks (33*) partnership of 119* v Mawnan on 9 May, 8th wicket record for the entire club.

Today we say bye to our 2026 overseas player, Tom Owen as he returns to Australia 🇦🇺.

Tom has been a revelation for the club both on and off the field. On the field, he was simply fantastic amassing 848 runs and 44 wickets across all formats whilst being electric in the field with 13 catches and 1 runout. He was a major part of turning the season around for the first team.

Tom made an equal impact off of the field supporting our all stars and dynamos, our youth section and helping run our senior training sessions. He’s helped improve the game of many senior and youth players this season for which we know they are extremely thankful for.
