What an incredible result for L***y Surf Life Saving Club! Our team ran, swam and boarded their way to 11th place at Nationals — a record result for the club! 🌊💪

A huge congratulations to every athlete who gave it everything out on the sand and in the water. Your hard work, determination and team spirit have made the whole club incredibly proud. 💛💚

A massive thank you to our amazing coaches and officials for the countless hours, dedication and support behind the scenes. And to all the parents and families who travelled, supported, encouraged and cheered every step of the way — we couldn’t do it without you.

And of course, a huge shout-out to our Nippers! 👏 You represented L***y with pride and showed exactly what makes this club so special.

Huge congratulations to L***y for a fantastic performance at Nationals, placing 26th out of 32 teams in the country with only 4 members!The last few days were the definition of absolute teamwork. Each girl stepped up, gave it their all, and everyone scored points for the team! 🙌

Great first day. Brilliant sprints points from Ida and superb 🏊 swimming from them all. They made it round a tough course, Abbie 10th Isabelle 20th against competitors a year older. Girl power 💥 💚 💛

What makes L***y so special isn't just the results—it's the kindness, teamwork and support our nippers show each other every time they compete.

A huge shoutout to our award winners:

💚 Jess K – led the charge by staying with a teammate who was feeling very unsure throughout the swim course, supporting them every stroke of the way.

💚 Kaia and Isabelle – first on the scene when teammates needed help, making sure they were safe and supported. Harrison was right there too.

👏 A special well done to Delen and Seb H, who stepped up for the team in Taplin events and for Jocelyn who stepped outside her comfort zone - they all pushed themselves for the team.

Cornish Beach Champs 2026

💚 💛 8th in Cornwall - just behind the big teams 💚 💛

Absolute epic effort from the whole team. 7am Saturday to 7.30pm Sunday it was a long one. But energy was high till the end - the green glittery eye brows ended on a high.

Big thank you to those parents that stepped up to officiate, help and provide water cover. Thank you to Jo, Rob, Nikki, Caireen and Rachel for managing age groups. And a Special to Ant for sorting the gazebo and getting the boards there. We couldn’t do it with out your help.
