A great weekends racing as always in 🇧🇪 Belgium and some good results as well.

At least 2 Kermesses a week, every week is paying dividends now.

3 weeks left of the season in Belgium for us.

The service course has kept me busy with routine maintenance as expected, ensuring that the bikes on every race are clean and running correctly.

So, I have to apologise to my customers for being a little slower repairing and returning their bikes than I (or them!!)would like.

Ive been dealing with some health issues which have put me behind and I had to shut for a while. Its taken longer than I would have liked to get back on my feet and into the swing of things again.

This has led to a slower than usual service, which I regret and am sorry for.

Last week we lost our dog, Chas, due to illness as well, which has also knocked us for 6.

July in reality can do one.

For those customers whose expectations I cannot meet due to this (despite some bikes being in shocking conditions and requiring hours of research on parts not available in the UK) let me know and I'll get your bikes returned to you ASAP.

There are a number of shops and mechanics who I'm sure can magic up parts for you and have your bike repaired for you before it even arrives!

At present Im not taking on any more bookings and will endeavour to get bikes out as soon as I can.

People seem to forget that Im not "amazon prime" and am but one man in a workshop full of bikes. 🤔

On another note, if anyone knows a qualified mechanic who may want some work please let me know.

You cant fault Canyon and Canyon Road 's customer service after discovering a split steerer tube and the ring of death whilst servicing this cracking Canyon Endurance.

The bike needed to be ready for the Dartmoor Classic and they came up trumps for my customer.

If you ride a Canyon with their proprietary headset and oversized steerer, with the wedge, then its worth checking the steerer tube when the bike is serviced.

There is a workaround if the steerer is in one piece which is an insert fitted at the top of the steerer to prevent the tube from splitting.
