⚽️ First session with both Ollie’s! ⚽️

A brilliant first session meeting both Ollie’s today!

The focus was on mastering the basics, building confidence on the ball and developing those all-important fundamental skills. But above everything else, the main aim was to have fun — and both boys certainly did!

Lots of hard work, plenty of football and, most importantly, two big smiles leaving the session.

It was great to see them encouraging each other and enjoying their football throughout. A fantastic first session!

He didn't miss a beat. His application was absolutely fantastic today, and we nailed every single outcome we set for the session.

Today's Focus:
Ball Striking: Getting that power and accuracy dialed in.
Ball Mastery: Quick feet and building ultimate confidence on the ball.
Close Control: Keeping the ball glued to the feet.

1-1 session with Kayleigh ⚽️

Great to have Kayleigh back out on the grass after a few weeks away. Today was all about getting back into a rhythm, rebuilding confidence and getting comfortable with the ball again.

We worked through a range of technical practices, focusing on ball mastery, passing, receiving and movement, while gradually increasing the intensity throughout the session.

A really positive return, with plenty of quality moments and a great attitude throughout. 💪⚽️

I’m delighted to share that I’ve taken on the role of Head of Girls Football at Dragons Football Academy. ⚽️🐉

My focus will be on:

⚽️ Growing and strengthening the girls’ pathway
⚽️ Building teams across multiple age groups
⚽️ Recruiting and developing players and coaches
⚽️ Creating a clear, progressive player-development pathway
⚽️ Providing more opportunities for girls to play, develop and thrive
⚽️ Helping Dragons become a leading destination for girls’ football in the area

I’m excited to be joining an established academy with 160+ players, JPL football, excellent facilities and a strong track record of player development.

There’s a lot of work to do, but also a huge opportunity to build something really special.

I’m looking forward to getting started, meeting players, parents and coaches, and helping shape the next chapter of Dragons Girls Football. 🐉⚽️
