Beechwood Ladies Bowling Club

The bowling girls enjoying a 'socially distanced' coffee in the park at Beechwood Cafe whilst the weather is kind.

Some of the Beechwood Ladies who answered the invitation via WhatsApp, met for coffee at the Park this morning. A number of the Ladies have been playing regularly (in accordance with Covid Rules) all summer and all agree that Bowling has been a great way of keeping fit (and in touch) during the Lockdown restrictions. 😉

Reg sends an Easter Message to all@Beechwood

Would members please note that the large working party maintenance planned for Frìday 27 March cannot go ahead under the current restrictions.

The main gates to the park have been locked but we believe that the side pedestrian gate remains open. Any individuals going to the Green for any reason should ensure social isolation at all times until the restrictions have been removed.

Our BBQ chefs take a well earned break!

Bank Holiday Monday 26 August and our second BBQ of the summer. A wonderful turnout to watch the Bowls Drive and enjoy a quiet drink in glorious sunshine, followed by a hearty BBQ and music supplied by Justin.
Well done to all who helped this great day happen and a big thank to all to came along to make it such a special day!

Friday 23 August and we were a 'mini tour' by bus to Ashcombe Park Weston S Mare. A lovely walk along the seafront (with the tide in!), a good lunch and a 6 rink mixed match in glorious weather - what could be better? Each side won 3 rinks but we finished strongly to win on shots.
A quiet drink with our hosts followed by buffet and then back on the bus home. A great day - well done to all from Beechwood!
