Club Captain Luke Jenkins leading the way. (Even if it was an iron off the tee). Followed by Seniors Captain Pete Davies then our Ladies Captain, Sandra Carrington.

Christmas Tree Festival
Monday 1st Dec-Friday 5th Dec.
The church will be open to all the whole week from 10am (late night Wednesday till 7pm) for everyone to come and admire the trees. When you visit the Tree Festival you will have the chance to vote for your favourite trees - there will be a box for your votes in the church. Some discretionary prizes will also be given. There will be a Social Gathering on Friday 5th December, from 5pm they will be singing songs and Carol's. Refreshments will be provided free of charge.

Newport Links would like to thank everyone involved with a successful Centenary Open day held on Saturday 6th September. To the 131 competitors who stuck it out in breezy conditions - the greenstaff for getting the course in superb condition after the driest summer in ages and to all the sponsors who helped make it a great day.
Here’s to the next 100 years.

This week our seniors competed for the annual Dai Lindquist trophy and the winner was…..Mark Taylor…seen here receiving the trophy from seniors’ captain Mark Carrington.

Today Newport Links held its annual Dan Betty competition with 18 competitors. Winning with a great score of nett 27 over the 9 holes was Griff Evans.
Well done to all competitors and see you all next year.
