ZERO TOLERANCE NOTICE

We need to make this absolutely clear: there is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for deliberately dropping weights and misusing equipment anywhere in 121GYM.

Our equipment is provided for everyone to use and must be treated with respect. Throwing, slamming or unnecessarily dropping weights causes damage to the kit, flooring and facility. This will not be tolerated.

Anyone found deliberately dropping weights or misusing equipment will receive an INSTANT BAN from 121GYM.

Train hard. Train properly. Respect the equipment and respect the facility.

MEMBERS UPDATE: New kit has officially arrived

We’ve had nearly 60 pieces of new equipment delivered to the facility, so over the next few weeks you’ll see plenty of moving, building and reorganising taking place across the gym. Once again, please bare with us during this exciting time!

MEMBERS UPDATE

Over the next few weeks, you’ll notice a few changes taking place around 121NEWPORT as we begin swapping out some of our existing kit and making way for new equipment coming into the facility.

There may be a little disruption while equipment is moved, removed and installed, but we’ll do everything we can to keep this to a minimum.

We understand it's courteous to hold the door open for the next person, however, every member must scan their own membership on entry to the building and at the barrier.

This is a health and safety requirement and helps us keep an accurate record of everyone in the facility. Failure to scan in correctly may result in your membership being withdrawn.

THE OFFICIAL GYM PARTNER OF NHSOB RFC

121GYM is incredibly proud to announce a major new partnership with Newport High School Old Boys RFC, officially becoming the club’s affiliated training home.

Founded in 1923, NHSOB is the biggest community rugby club in Wales and the highest-standard grassroots club representing Newport and the surrounding area under the SRC.

The club supports players at every stage of their rugby journey, from its thriving mini and junior sections through to youth, senior and First XV rugby.

As part of this partnership, we look forward to welcoming NHSOB’s junior players from the ages of 15 and 16, supporting their physical development and becoming part of their journey as they progress through the club.

We are also extremely proud to partner with a club that plays such an important role in the growth of women’s rugby in Newport. NHSOB is home to Newport’s only senior ladies’ rugby team and the city’s only girls’ rugby hub, providing a pathway and community for female players of all ages.

With more than 600 mini and junior players, alongside its senior teams, Nippers and additional-needs teams, NHSOB is a genuine cornerstone of the Newport community.

We look forward to welcoming NHSOB players, coaches, members and families into our facility and building a partnership that supports the club both on and off the pitch.
