It is with deep regret and sadness that we inform you of the passing of Eileen McPolin.

McPolin (nee Malone) Golf Links House, Newcastle. Eileen died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family 1st October 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Michael and mother of Michael-Paul (Alice) Longstone, Mary McKay (Brian) Burren, James (Patricia) Hilltown, John (Kathleen) Dundrum, Diana Morgan (James) Newcastle and Patrick (Jennie) Newcastle.

Sister of Michael Malone and the late Mary Doran, Kathleen Gilmore, Patsy and Jackie.

Eileen’s remains will be reposing at her home until removal on Friday 4th October at 9am for 10am Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Newcastle. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Bryansford.

Her passing will leave a void in the lives of her 21 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, large family circle and many friends.
