📣 ASSOCIATE EXAM 💃🏾

Over the last 12 months two of our students took to the task of taking their associate exam with after taking all of their exams throughout their time at DDA as dancers.

I am extremely proud to announce that Amelia Metcalfe is now a fully qualified dance teacher, and my goodness she’s a brilliant one!

Watching her nurture our next generation, and seeing her creatively come to life has made me beam from the inside out!

Anyone who has taken their associate exam will tell you it’s no easy task, it takes time, it is jam packed with both theory and practical and Amelia has smashed it! With 93 marks 🙌🏽

Now get her booked!!!! Just don’t be taking her away from my nights 😜😆😂

It has been a real honour to watch and support these girls on their next journey as FULLY QUALIFIED dance teachers! It is so important to me as a dance teacher / principal that we do it the right way! I scream about it all the time, it’s not just about holding that certificate at the end, it’s the knowledge and experience that comes with it, and ensuring that all dance teachers know the safe way to teach dance and the understanding that every student learns in many different ways.

TSG Foundation Donation 🙌🏽✨

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to TSG Foundation who kindly donated £500 to our dance school to help fund costumes and equipment.

This has been a massive help to the school and our dancers, with the funds we have been able to purchase 30 costumes and a brand new portable mirror 🪞

Our competition team now have 2 brand new costumes each to go with their new routines, and our studio equipment is now growing with the addition of our portable mirror.
