Newcastle Sendai Karate

This week-end we had the pleasure of attending Sendai Kushiro's advanced Kata and Kumite course in Sunderland. An amazing training opportunity with outstanding instructors, it was especially great to be training with special guest instructor Sensei Francesco Rochetti.
Many thanks for the organisation and the instruction, we look forward to next year!

Reminder there is no training this Saturday (29th). We'll post an update when the Saturday morning sessions are back!

Lancaster 2026!
Last week we attended the KUGB's summer school. A formidable week of training with fantastic instructors. A great opportunity to catch up with karate friends too!
Huge thanks to the KUGB (Karate Union of Great Britain) for making it happen and to the instructors for their time and knowledge.
We look forward to come back next year!

Saturday Sessions!

We will have additional training for 1st Kyu in preparation for their Dan Grade on the next two Saturdays (8th and 15th of August).

9am - 10am, £5 per session. Come warmed up, and please notify your club instructor.

Training is on again this Saturday for 1st Kyu, in preparation for their Dan grade, led by sensei Grant and sensei Claire.

If you want to attend from another club, please ensure that you notify your club instructor.

As discussed, extra training sessions have been confirmed for above dates, for 1st kyus only (brown 2 white stripes).

These sessions will concentrate on the 1st dan grading syllabus.

Further session will be planned pending instructor availability.

Please endeavour to attend all additional sessions.

If possible, please pay mat fees on the Thursday before & ensure students are warmed up before each class to save a bit of time.
