Many of you will know I was in Chiang Mai in June helping 7 photographers make personal projects. Photographer/ director Hubert Kang was one of them and here is his story: https://hubertkang.substack.com/p/superstars?r=4bkdox&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email
Our 2027 destination is Oaxaca Mexico and the early bird rate ends today, together with the presentation replay. Hit me up with any questions!

One of the many adventures which our Series Project makers encountered whilst on location in Chiang Mai last month. To see their final projects (including Camilla’s) you can sign up for the preview and artist Q&A here: https://register.christinaforce.net/
It was hot, so hot, but somehow I was chilly. Maybe it was the blasting air con, or maybe the fact I felt incredibly awkward and a little nervous as I tried to fold my (broken skiers) knees under me as not to show the soles of my bare feet (disrespectful) to the Mae Chi (female Buddhist nun of Northern Thailand)… What happened next blew my mind.
(Exert from last months news letter, head over to my website (under ABOUT) to sign up and read past letters…
I’lll be sharing my personal photo project from Thailand really soon, DETAILS TO COME!

This is one of the many promo cards I received in 2025 but I thought that now is a good time to pull it out, given that we’ve just moved into the beginning of the Chinese lunar new year - the year of the Firehorse. More on that later, but thank you .photo for this lovely card!x

3 weeks ago I left a summer sunset in Titirangi, New Zealand (3rd image) and scooted over to the beautifully bleak North East of England where my elderly parents live.
It has worked out well, as over half the amazing photographers currently doing my (full) Bootcamp programme are based here too. So not too many late night calls. We had our first group call yesterday and everyone’s been briefed on prepping their treatments for their personal projects- I can’t wait to see them next week.
Meanwhile I’m bracing myself for the snow…

I always get caught out in January- it sneaks up and suddenly we’re halfway through before we started. This year I already had tons of calls booked in before Christmas, so I was plunged headfirst into work the first week back. I shared this last week- it’s 3 steps to kick off January, just in case you’re a photographer struggling to get things moving forward:

You have 1 week left to view these powerful 9 projects made in Morocco this June. The diversity of ideas and ex*****on is pretty amazing since everyone went to the same city at the same time. (Of course that's what we teach but it's great to see it in practice!)
