Jesmond's Real Tennis Club seals its future sporting success in 250-year lease deal Newcastle City Council has agreed the new lease in exchange for the club investing in the Grade II listed building

Great fun at the 2nd Annual Old Boys' fixture yesterday. There was some great realers on show, the students showcasing pace and agility, the gents rolling back the years with some majestic exhibition tennis. Ultimately it was the students who managed to edge the fixture for a 2nd straight year, reaffirming their bandit status and consigning the battle hardened alumni to defeat once again.

A belated thanks to all those who came down for the triangular match with Durham and St Andrews a fortnight ago. There was some great tennis and we are all looking forward to playing each other again in the near future.

We are delighted to announce the fixture list for tomorrow's triangular match against Durham and St Andrews. The running order is as follows below:

9-11am - Inigo Grose vs Tobias Graves vs Hector Don
11am-12pm - Phil Rees vs Harry Knowlton
12-1pm - Nick Green vs Matt Brooks
1-2pm - Jeremy Bushell vs Georgie Lacey-Solymar
2-3pm - Henry Beckwith vs Oliver Taylor
3-4pm - Will Briggs vs Peter Eatøn

Once again we're really looking forward to this unique event, and we're sure there'll be some cracking tennis on show.

There'll be free food on offer throughout the day so make sure you get down to watch and support too.

NB. We have the court booked until 6pm, so if anyone fancies organising another match, let us know and we'll sort something out.
