September always feels like a fresh start.
The holidays are over, routines return & like begins to settle again (for a little while anyway 🙄😂).
Instead of trying to change everything overnight, pick one thing you can stay consistent with this month. Small wins beat big overhauls every time.

Run clubs don’t have to be intimidating.
And after Saturday morning, we think we’ve proved it.
Exactly what we wanted: good people, different paces, plenty of enthusiasm, lots of smiles
If you’ve been thinking “I’d love to come, but I’m not really a runner…” this is your sign.
You don’t need to be the fastest.
You don’t need to know anyone.
You just need to turn up.
Back again next Saturday | Free to join | Link in bio.

If I was training, doing all the “right” things, and still felt like I wasn’t getting anywhere... I’d probably feel frustrated.
I’d question whether what I was doing was working.
I’d wonder if I needed to eat less, do more cardio or completely change my routine.
But then I’d remind myself of something we talk about all the time at The Confidence Coach...
Progress isn’t defined by a number on the scales.
So here’s what I’d do instead:
✓ Keep strength training 2-3 times a week.
✓ Stick to habits I can maintain, not a plan I can only follow for 8 weeks.
✓ Focus on getting stronger, not just lighter.
✓ Keep walking and moving every day.
✓ Eat enough protein and build meals around whole foods.
✓ Sleep well
✓ Stay patient. Progress isn’t always linear.
And here’s what I wouldn’t do...
✗ Panic.
✗ Slash my calories.
✗ Punish myself with extra exercise.
✗ Decide I’d failed.
Because the scales can’t tell me...
• If I’m stronger than I was a month ago.
• If I’ve got more energy.
• If I’m building muscle.
• If my clothes fit differently.
• Or if I’m creating habits that will still be there in five years’ time.
The goal was never just to weigh less.
It was to build a body that’s stronger, healthier and capable of supporting the life you want to live.
