Unfortunately due to the atrocious Bank Holiday weather today's Open Day was cancelled. We are running another on Sunday May 10th from 11 - 3.

National Croquet Day is on Sunday May 3rd. Come along to Exhibition Park for a free Taster Session!!

Thanks to the crack lawn clearing team who did a terrific job today preparing the lawns for the new season which begins on Saturday 4th April.

30 guests attended the annual Dinner and Presentations at Northumberland Golf Club on October 22nd. Congratulations to all the winners

Congratulations to Alison and Dave Okell on winning the Bamburgh GC Doubles B Tournament (combined handicap of 8 and above). They tied with Arnie Clegg and David Milliner on points but scored one more hoop. In third place one point behind were Mike Solomon and Peter Cartman. A great result for both Belsay and Tyneside Members.

Tyneside retained the Tyneside Quaich today at Exhibition Park in perfect conditions for playing croquet. Congatulations to Dave and Nora on winning both of their matches against Belsay and Middlesbrough.

Tyneside Hawthorns ended their season away to Backworth with a 3 1/2 - 14 1/2 loss. Thanks to Anne Murray for stepping in at the last minute and making her compeitive debut.

The Annual One Ball Tournament was held on Saturday at Exhibition Park in blustery conditions. It was won by Derek Johnson. Hopefully some of the participants will now consider playing Association Croquet
