PSP is a rare, complex neurological condition which progressively affects movement, balance, vision, speech and swallowing. It is an atypical Parkinsonian disorder and, particularly in its early stages, can sometimes be misdiagnosed as Parkinson’s disease due to some similarities in symptoms.
