Help!

First of all... the good news. WFC has been successful applying for a grant for 2 containers for storage. This is to replace our garage which is subsiding and becoming a danger.

The bad news.... to get the containers in place, we will need to knock down and remove the garage and place paving stones at each corner for them to be placed on.

Do we have people at the club that can help with this as quotes for groundwork have been near 10k. If we organised a day for volunteers to come and demolish, dig out and prepare the site? Please let us know if you would be willing to help by commenting or contacting via message.

The boys played some brilliant football throughout the tournament, working incredibly hard for each other and playing every game with no subs💪⚽

A fantastic collective performance from start to finish, improving with every game and finishing the tournament in excellent form, showing real attitude, effort and quality 👏

Also a special shoutout to our U13 Wolves players Toby, Matteo and Nico who stepped up superbly while some of the squad were away 💪

U14 girls players wanted for 26/27 Season - please see contact details below if interested in joining WFC ⚽️💙🖤

Training has resumed at Lockey Park and unfortunately coaches are having to pick up dog mess prior to sessions.

With pitches starting to be marked next week and children as young as 6 playing on the grass, we would ask local residents to please pick up after their dogs. In one hour tonight, coaches witnessed two people not picking up.

We will endeavour to make sure all our sites are clean and litter free, making sure we keep the park in good condition. We have also invested over 50k into the park to make sure the space is somewhere everyone can enjoy, including our four legged friends.

We love seeing all the community out at Lockey Park, but please make sure its safe for our players and pick up after your dogs.

Our Wideopen Wanderers U12 team are looking to add a Centre Midfielder (unattached) and a Forward (unattached) to their squad for the 2026/27 season⚽️

The team will be competing in the top division of the Northumberland Football U12 League on Sundays💪
