As we come to the end of another fantastic season for our U12s team, I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone involved ❤️🖤

Firstly, to every single player — thank you for your hard work, commitment, determination and attitude throughout the season. Watching you all develop, improve and grow together as a team has been an absolute pleasure. You should all be incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved this year, both individually and collectively. The effort, teamwork and character you’ve shown week in, week out has been outstanding 👏⚽️

A massive thank you also goes to all of the parents and families for the incredible support you’ve shown throughout the season towards myself, Wayne and Rob. Having supportive, encouraging and positive parents behind the team makes such a huge difference, and it certainly doesn’t go unnoticed. Your support on matchdays, at training, and throughout the entire season has helped create such a brilliant environment for the boys to enjoy their football and continue developing both on and off the pitch. We genuinely appreciate every single one of you 🙏

A special thank you to Charlotte for organising and collecting all of the bonding day money — your help has been greatly appreciated and has taken a big job off our hands 👍

An enormous thank you also goes to Tammy for everything she does behind the scenes. From sorting kits, organising bonding day events, arranging gifts and helping with all the jobs that many people don’t always get to see, your contribution to the team is absolutely invaluable. On a personal note, thank you for all the support you give me as my wife throughout the season. Your patience, encouragement and constant help are truly appreciated more than words can say ❤️🙏

We would also like to thank The City of Stoke Chairman, Leigh Robinson, Vice Chairman Simon Day, and all of the volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to help run our fantastic community club. Grassroots football simply wouldn’t exist without the hard work and dedication of people like yourselves, and we are incredibly proud to represent and be part of such a brilliant club 👏❤️🖤

After a long and enjoyable season, it’s now time for everyone to enjoy a well-earned few weeks of rest, recharge the batteries, reset, and then we go again in July ready for another exciting season ahead 💪🏻⚽️

Looking forward to seeing you all at the awards nights 🏆👏

CÖS Devils 2 - 0 Newcastle Strikers

What a fantastic way to finish our season! The lads stormed into a 2-0 lead within the opening minutes, and that’s how it stayed. Every single player was absolutely on fire tonight 👏

Over the last few months, these boys have gone from strength to strength, and it’s a shame the season is coming to an end 😔

But we’ve got so much to look forward to next season, with even more exciting times ahead for this team. We’ll keep developing the boys and pushing them to be the very best they can be — not just as footballers, but as human beings too ❤️🖤

Massive well done to Kaiden on his 2 goals tonight ⚽⚽The first came from a lovely ball into the box from Leo, finished brilliantly over the keeper by Kaiden. The second was another outstanding long-range effort — this lad has scored some unbelievable goals this season 👏 Brilliant work mate!

Well done Archie on your POTW award ⭐Once again proving that playing up a year is no problem for this lad. Some brilliant slide tackles and great passing out from the back. Superb performance 👍

Last but definitely not least, huge congratulations to the main man tonight, Finley, on his MOTM award 🏆An outstanding final league game from you mate, and fully deserved. Great tackling, excellent passing, and always aware of everything around him on the pitch.

Finley has been with me since day one and has been an absolute credit to coach over the last 3 years. I wish you nothing but success in your football journey kiddo — keep pushing yourself, keep enjoying your football, and most importantly, keep that big smile on your face ❤️

Now let’s go again tomorrow and do our very best to bring that trophy home for Finn’s final day 💪

See you all tomorrow!!

C’MON YOU DEVILS 💪🏻👊🏻❤️🖤⚽️

Great day with the City of Stoke U12s yesterday!

The boys had a brilliant time, lots of laughs, plenty of football, and plenty of chips and pizza enjoyed by all 🍕🍟

It was great to see parents getting involved as well, joining in with some football and even a few games of Uno, which added to the fun.

Days like this are what it’s all about—bringing everyone together, building team spirit, and just enjoying being part of the team.

A really enjoyable day all round! ❤️🖤👿

CÖS Devils 1–1 Biddulph Town
(Biddulph win 4–3 on penalties)

Wow… what a game this morning.

Me, Wayne and Rob couldn’t be prouder of the lads. This performance is a real testament to the hard work, commitment, and attitude they’ve shown over the past few months.

Not long ago, we suffered a heavy 11–1 defeat to the same opposition — so to come back, compete like that in a semi-final, and take it all the way to penalties shows just how far this group has come.

This is what development looks like. Learning, improving, sticking together, and growing every week. We’re not just focusing on results — we’re building the next crop of players for this club, and today showed exactly what these lads are capable of.

It wasn’t our day in the shootout after a great save from their keeper, but the performance, character, and togetherness were outstanding.

👏 Huge well done to all the players
⚽ Harry — goal & Player of the Week
🏅 Jenson — Man of the Match

Enjoy your weekend everyone — see you all at training.

We are CÖS Devils 🖤❤️👿

Good luck to Biddulph Town in the final, and for the rest of the season Daniel Biddulph 💪🏻

CÖS Devils 3 – 5 Biddulph Town

Wow… what a game we had on our hands this morning!

We spoke before the match about the importance of this one, with a place in the final up for grabs. Unfortunately, I think a few of the lads let Biddulph’s league position get into their heads. In the first half we weren’t quite at it — not enough fight, too much walking, and feeling sorry for ourselves. Rightly so, we found ourselves 4–0 down at half-time.

At the break, we spoke about what we expect — 100% effort, battling, tackling, running, and never giving up. Yes, voices were raised, but only in a positive and supportive way.

And my word… what a response the lads gave us.

First, Leo smashed in a goal-of-the-season contender into the top corner — the keeper had absolutely no chance. Shortly after, a great corner from Walker saw George P rise like a salmon to power home a header. Then suddenly, belief grew… and Kaiden fired a brilliant low finish into the bottom corner to make it three.

All three goals were outstanding.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite enough, as Biddulph grabbed another and the game finished 3–5. But against a team top of the league, that second-half performance was something to be proud of. The fight, team spirit, and togetherness were outstanding.

In our eyes, we won the second half 3–1 — and that’s a massive achievement.

Well done boys — coaches and parents are incredibly proud of you all.

CÖS Devils 6 – 0 Stone Old Alleynians

A brilliant morning of football from the lads as we book our place in the League Cup Semi Final 👏⚽️

From the first whistle, the team showed real intensity, quality, and togetherness. The tempo was high, the passing sharp, and the movement off the ball caused problems all game. It was great to see the boys playing with confidence, working hard for each other, and showing the kind of team spirit we’ve been building all season.

A big positive today was the opportunity for everyone to get valuable minutes on the pitch, and every single player stepped up and contributed. The energy, discipline, and desire to keep pushing right until the final whistle was fantastic to watch.

Special mention to Alfie, who has been working hard in training and showing real quality in front of goal. Given his chance up front today, he absolutely took it—bagging 2 well-earned goals and putting in a top performance to take home a fully deserved Man of the Match 🏆

Another great moment was George P getting his first goal for the club ⚽️ A big milestone and one that was thoroughly deserved for his effort and commitment—earning him Player of the Week 🥇

Unlucky not to get on the scoresheet was Nedas, who put in a strong performance up top and was a constant threat all game. On another day he could have had a couple of goals, but for some fantastic saves from the Stone keeper. Keep working hard—his goals will come soon 👏

Credit as well to Stone Old Alleynians, who defended bravely throughout and showed great resilience.

Overall, a top team performance, plenty of positives to take forward, and a well-earned result. Proud of every single player today 👏

Enjoy your weekend, boys—see you all Tuesday for training!
