Well done to Basford members Bobby and Alex for their wins at the Staffordshire County Championships. Bobby won the u14s mixed doubles and finished runner up in the 14s and 16s boys doubles. He also finished 3rd in the boys 14 and under singles. Also well done to Alex who won the 14 and 16 and under boys doubles and had good performances in his singles events. Also a shout out to Marc, Louis, Anthony and Jacob who competed well. Always nice to see a good number of Basford Juniors competing at the county closed

Congratulations to Basford member Bobby who won the Regional Play Your Way to Wimbledon 14 and under boys singles and now qualifies to play at Wimbledon in August. He’ll join fellow Basford players Luke and Louis who will play in the men’s doubles and Alex who will play in the boys doubles

An excellent afternoon’s tennis for the season opener with 29 players taking part in a team competition. In a close contest team Adams came out on top over team Newport 19-16. Thanks for everyone that took part 🎾🏆
