Bird in Hand 0 - 2 Newcastle Mona

Gilly has given up fighting John for the number 9 shirt and started fighting Glover for the number 1 cake throat in the squad. Benny Win somehow managed to do less than normal this morning but had a lovely chat with Tubbsy.

A cross got cleared and Al volleyed one in the top corner with Kaleb Cooper rooted to his line. Mort is banned from cutting in on his right and shooting, hes now banned from chopping on to his left and crossing.

Aid Lloyd corner and Kaleb was stood in Chipping Norton as Argo ran in to the six yard box unmarked and headed in to the empty net. He wheeled off and celebrated in front of his mum, lovely stuff.

Linc loves missing sitters, Al and Billy are best mates and Gilly's trampoline touch is back. Overall, great team display worthy of all three points.

MOTM - This could’ve gone to most of the team, but after begging the gaffer for the armband, Hargo backed it up with a captain’s performance in front of his travelling fans.

DOTD - Mr Sitter. Aka, Linc. (again)

An early contender for goal of the season from Saunders and a second half header from Hargo seal all three points for Newcastle Mona.

This Sunday sees a clash between two sides who finished just one place apart last season.

Despite being on top in the final league standings, we’ve failed to beat this Sunday’s opponents in 90 minutes across our three previous meetings.

Newcastle Mona 3 - 0 Wharf United

First game of the season and BMF rocks up hungover, covered in sick, gnawing on the tape and looked disgusting. Tried kick the ball to their keeper for a goal kick and kicked it 40 yards away from him.

Not much happened in the first half but they collected a few yellow cards and moaned a lot. The goal opened up for Gilly but he started playing basketball in the 6 yard box.

You can always count on Aid Lloyd to turn up after we have won a few, but he turned up and turned them inside out with two solo goals. Bogdan makes a worldie save at 1-1. Cotty set Fin up with a nice move to get his first goal for the club. Wore 4 chains to the pub this week but he earnt every one.

Bogdan couldn’t catch anything above head height, Billy got subbed off for Al and it was a bit frosty, Linc missed an open goal from 5 yards and Gilly kicked it at his own head, twice. Gilly puts his head on how he eats his baps, upside down.

On a side note, apologies to anyone that saw Tyler's lad twerking in the Boothen end during Saturdays Stoke match.
