We may be waving goodbye to summer, but there’s still plenty of time to adventure on the water with us!
A few questions we often get asked throughout September are answered below👇🏼
🏄🏼♀️Do we need to book in advance?
Due to the quieter nature of this end of the season, we kindly ask that you book online ahead of your chosen activity day to guarantee your slot so our Instructors are ready for your arrival.
If the weather is on our side, we will still be down at The Paddle Hut for walk-up bookings on Saturdays & Sundays, but Monday to Friday will be back to our advance booking system only.
🏄🏼♀️What date do you close for winter?
Our season officially closes on 1st November and then we will be back open from Easter 2027 😁
🏄🏼♀️Do you have wetsuits?
Yes, we provide wetsuits for an additional £5pp. These can be reserved online at the time of booking, or paid for on arrival on the day.
🏄🏼♀️Do you go out in all weathers?
We assess conditions in the lead up to your booking and only cancel if we think it is too windy and conditions are unsafe. (If your plans are quite flexible, we always try to shuffle your booking around to the best weather windows where we can.) As we all know, the sun doesn’t always shine for us here in the Lakes, but we still go out and have lots of fun on cloudier, rainy days too! Suitable clothing tips can be found on our FAQs page of our website if you choose not to wear a wetsuit.
