603. A NEW ALRESFORD TOWN RECORD. 🖤🤍

What a night at Arlebury Park.

An incredible 603 supporters came through the gates for our Hampshire Senior Cup tie against Aldershot Town — smashing our previous attendance record of 339.

On the pitch, the 6–2 scoreline doesn't quite tell the full story. Our lads gave an excellent account of themselves against professional opposition, created chances and competed right until the end.

Alfie Jones found the top corner from the penalty spot, before returning favourite Billy got our second.

But the biggest story of the night was the support.

To every single person who came through the gates, and to all of the volunteers and people behind the scenes who worked incredibly hard to make the evening possible — thank you.

Special thanks to the Arlebury Bar, The Flower Pots, Alresford Town Council and everyone who played their part in making it such a memorable occasion.

Doors open from 5:30pm ahead of tonight’s big game.

🍺 The Flower Pots will be here serving refreshments throughout the evening.

🍔 Hot food will also be available, so come down early, grab something to eat and drink, and enjoy the build-up!

New Alresford Town Trust - NATT New Alresford Town Council

⚠️ IMPORTANT ACCESS NOTICE – ARLEBURY PARK

Ahead of tomorrow evening’s Alresford Town FC fixture, please be aware of the following temporary access restrictions from 5:30pm:

🚫 Access to the football ground and The Avenue from the bottom of the park (River Way access) will be unavailable from the top-level gym equipment area onwards.

🚫 Access to the lower park from the main car park will also be unavailable, including all routes down towards the lower part of the park.

These restrictions will be in place from 5:30pm tomorrow evening as part of the arrangements for the match.

Please plan your route through Arlebury Park accordingly, and apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Tickets are still available in advance via the link below and will also be available on the gate from 5:30pm.

We strongly recommend purchasing in advance where possible to help avoid queues and congestion at the entrance.

Tough one to take on Saturday.

After going 1-0 up, the Mags were reduced to 10 men and played over 70 minutes a man down. The boys can be proud of the performance — defending heroically, continuing to create chances and pushing right until the end.

Plenty of positives despite the result. 💪

We dust ourselves down and look for a big response this Saturday.

After a brilliant 3-1 win on the road at Whitchurch on Saturday, Alresford Town are straight back into action tomorrow night as we welcome Aldermaston to Arlebury Park.

The boys have made a positive start to the season and now we’d love to see the town get behind them under the lights. 🙌
