It’s been a busy week for Hampshire Ladies Golf culminating in our Div 1 Autumn Meeting played yesterday at North Hants GOLF CLUB with over 100 competitors!
The players had another glorious day of sunshine and despite the lightning quick greens, there were some great scores. Liphook Golf Club’s Cath Anderson took the top gross prize and Stoneham Golf Club’s Bridget Stowe was the worthy nett winner. Tracey Willmont-Coles (Blackmoor Golf Club) won the combined gross aggregate prize (Spring & Autumn meetings and Polly Church (Alresford Golf Club) won the nett aggregate prize. 🏆 👏🩵⛳️
Many congratulations to all the prize-winners and a big thanks to North Hants for hosting us all so well! The catering was exceptional 🙏😋

Perfect weather conditions set the scene for an exciting 2026 Stoneham Cup Finals Day at Hockley GC yesterday. The morning semi-finals saw Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club pitted against Waterlooville Golf Club and Tylney Park Golf Club were drawn against the defending champions, Stoneham Golf Club. It was nip & tuck in all 14 semi-finals matches but Waterlooville & Stoneham emerged the winners.
The stage was set for an exciting Finals afternoon and it was hard to tell who would emerge the winners. Slowly, Stoneham got their noses ahead and despite two matches going down the 19th & 20th, Stoneham won 4 matches - enough to defend their title 🏆⛳️👏
Congratulations to all the players on a wonderful day, played in the best of spirits and a big thanks to Hockley Golf Club for hosting us all so well.

The 2026 Senior Women’s Ten Counties competition was hotly contested today in perfect weather. Three points separated the top 4 teams with Team Sussex emerging the winners, narrowly pipping Team Hampshire into 2nd place; Team Kent were 3rd. To see all the results, look in the comments below 👇

Hampshire is hosting the Senior Women’s Ten Counties Competition today and they’re all underway. This is team competition, 3 from 4 scores to count off scratch. The best of luck to Georgia Richardson and Louise Caplen (both Stoneham Golf Club), and Alima Kassim (Liphook Golf Club) as they participate in the County Champion of Champions Women’s, Senior Women’s and Girls’ event respectively this weekend on the Bracken course at Woodhall Spa. 🍀🍀🩵🍀🍀
Alima plays 36 holes on Saturday, Louise plays 36 holes over 2 days on Saturday/Sunday and Georgia plays 36 holes on Sunday.

Our very own County Champion, Georgia Richardson (Stoneham Golf Club), continues her winning streak. Many congratulations - we’re super proud of you 👏 🩵⛳️

𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 - 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻 👧

Georgia Richardson claimed victory in the final Bronte Law Junior Series event of the year at Moor Allerton Golf Club, edging fellow England Golf teammate Daisy Lee by just one shot.

Richardson fired rounds of 71, 72 and 71 to finish on -5, carding an impressive 11 birdies across the tournament. Lee finished close behind on -4, while Grace Gill secured third place on +5.
